وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنِّي لَأَدْخُلُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ إِطَالَتَهَا، فَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ، فَأَتَجَوَّزُ فِي صَلَاتِي ; مِمَّا أَعْلَمُ مِنْ وَجْدِ أُمِّهُ بِبُكَائِهِ
Translation

✧ I enter the prayer intending to lengthen it, then I hear a child's crying, so I shorten my prayer because I know how his mother feels due to his crying.
