حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُوسَى السَّامِيُّ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

✧ A Persian man who was a neighbor of the Prophet ﷺ made a fragrant broth. One day he came to the Prophet ﷺ while Aisha was at his side, and he gestured to him with his hand—meaning he signaled to him with his hand—indicating that he and Aisha should come. He said: No. Then he gestured to him again, indicating that he and Aisha should come, and he signaled to him: No. Then he gestured to him, and he signaled: Yes, so he came to us.
