حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، نَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْكَلْبِيُّ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ - ثِقَةٌ - نَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
جِئْنَ النِّسَاءُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْنَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ذَهَبَ الرِّجَالُ بِالْفَضْلِ وَالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَمَا لَنَا عَمَلٌ نُدْرِكُ بِهِ عَمَلَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنْ قَعَدَ - أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا - مِنْكُنَّ فِي بَيْتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُدْرِكُ عَمَلَ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ
Translation

✧ Women came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, the men have gone off with the merit and jihad in the path of Allah, so what deed do we have by which we can attain the deed of those who strive in the path of Allah? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever of you remains—or a word like that—in her house, she attains the deed of the one who strives in the path of Allah.
