حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نَا أَبُو ظَفَرٍ، نَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ لَا يَمُوتُ حَتَّى تُمْلَأَ مَسَامِعُهُ مِمَّا يُحِبُّ، قِيلَ: فَمَنْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ لَا يَمُوتُ حَتَّى تُمْلَأَ مَسَامِعُهُ مِمَّا يَكْرَهُ

Translation

✧ It was said: O Messenger of God, who are the people of Paradise? He said: Whoever does not die until his ears are filled with what he loves. It was said: Who are the people of the Fire? He said: Whoever does not die until his ears are filled with what he hates.
