وَسَمِعْتُ بَعْضَ أَصْحَابِنَا - وَيُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو زَيْدٍ الْأُبُلِّيُّ - يَذْكُرُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي طَرِيقٍ، وَمَرَّتِ امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَجُلٌ: الطَّرِيقَ، فَقَالَتِ: الطَّرِيقُ لَهُ وَاسِعٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَعُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا جَبَّارَةٌ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was passing along a road, and a black woman passed by. A man said to her, “Make way.” She said, “The road is wide for him.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Leave her, for she is defiant.”
