✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became seriously ill, distress kept overwhelming him. Fatimah supported him against her chest and said: Alas, the distress! For the distress of my father! The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no distress upon your father after today. She said: O my father, how close he is to his Lord! O my father, the Gardens of Firdaws are his abode. O my father, to Jibril we announce his death. O my father, he answered a Lord who called him. Anas said: Fatimah said: Or he said, then she said: O Anas! Are your souls pleased that you throw dust upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?
