حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السُّكَّرِيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الْغَدَاةَ وَأَجْلِسَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ فِيهِمَا: أَرْبَعُ رَقَبَاتٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ.

✧ "To pray the morning prayer and sit until the sun rises is dearer to me"—I think he said—"than freeing such-and-such a number of the descendants of Isma'il." I think he said about them: "four slaves from the descendants of Isma'il."
