حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ، نَا هِلَالُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَأَسْلَمُ وَغِفَارُ وَرِجَالٌ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ وَجُهَيْنَةَ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْحَلِيفَيْنِ غَطَفَانَ وَبَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ، فَقَالَ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ: وَاللهِ ; لَأَنْ أَكُونَ فِي هَؤُلَاءِ فِي النَّارِ - يَعْنِي غَطَفَانَ وَبَنِي عَامِرٍ - أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

✧ Aslam, Ghifar, and some men of Muzaynah and Juhaynah are better than the two allies Ghatafan and Banu Amir b. Sa'sa'ah. Uyaynah b. Badr said: 'By Allah, to be among these in the Fire'—meaning Ghatafan and Banu Amir—'is dearer to me than to be with those in Paradise.'
