حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْكَبِيرِ الْعَطَّارُ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأَرُزِّيُّ وَالسَّكَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، نَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ حَدًّا فَأَقِمْهُ عَلَيَّ وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ عَنْهُ وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَصَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ حَدًّا فَأَقِمْ فِيَّ كِتَابَ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ شَهِدْتَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَنَا ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، قَالَ: فَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ غَفَرَ لَكَ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have committed an offense deserving a prescribed punishment, so carry it out on me.' He did not ask him about it. Then the prayer time came, and he prayed with the Prophet ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer, he said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have committed an offense deserving a prescribed punishment, so enforce upon me the Book of Allah.' He said: 'Did you not attend the prayer with us?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then Allah has forgiven you.'
