حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، نَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِشَرَابٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَأَعْرَابِيٌّ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعُمَرُ تُجَاهَهُ فَشَرِبَ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يُرِيهِ مَكَانَهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْأَيْمَنُونَ، وَأَعْطَى الْأَعْرَابِيَّ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was brought a drink while Abu Bakr was on his left, a bedouin on his right, and ʿUmar facing him. He drank, then ʿUmar said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this is Abu Bakr,' indicating his place. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Those on the right,' and gave it to the bedouin.

هكذا حدثنا يحيى بن يعلى وأردت أن أقول حين حدثني به إنه خطأ فتركت ولم أقل شيئا وهو خطأ قال أبي أصحاب زائدة يخالفون في هذا الحديث يقولون يحيى بن يعلى عن زائدة عن أبي طوالة عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن ابن معمر عن أنس عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قلت لأبي فأيهما أصح قال هذا حديث معروف به أبو طوالة غير أن يحيى كذا حدثنا وأخبرني إبراهيم بن راشد الآدمي أنه وقع عنده عن يحيى كذا قال أبي وتوهمت أن يكون وهم الشيخ وكان في قلبي من ذلك حتى رأيت في كتاب إبراهيم بن راشد الأدمي ببغداد كذا سمعه من يحيى بن يعلى فسكن قلبي
