حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: نَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ: أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى: أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُومَ عَلَى بُدْنِهِ، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْسِمَهَا كُلَّهَا لُحُومَهَا، وَجُلُودَهَا وَجِلَالَهَا فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَلَا يُعْطِيَ فِي جِزَارَتِهَا شَيْئًا. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: هَلْ سَمَّى لَكَ فِيمَنْ قَسَمَهَا ؟ قَالَ: لَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to take charge of his sacrificial camels and to distribute all of them — their meat, hides, and coverings — among the poor, and not to give anything for their slaughtering. He said: 'I asked: Did he name for you among whom to distribute them?' He said: 'No.'
