Translation

✧ I said to Ibn ʿUmar: “Do you pray the forenoon prayer?” He said: “No.” I said: “Did ʿUmar pray it?” He said: “No.” I said: “Did Abū Bakr pray it?” He said: “No.” I said: “Did the Prophet ﷺ pray it?” He said: “I do not think he used to pray it.”
