وَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، أَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ غَيْلَانَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ أَسْلَمَ وَتَحْتَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ كُنَّ عِنْدَهُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَأَسْلَمْنَ مَعَهُ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَخْتَارَ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا
Translation

✧ That Ghaylan b. Salama accepted Islam and had ten wives under him whom he had in the pre-Islamic era and they accepted Islam with him, so the Prophet ﷺ commanded him to choose four of them.
