machine translationAl-Faryābī narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab, from Ibn ʿUmar, and he erred (wahima) in mentioning Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab. What is preserved (maḥfūẓ) is from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar. Likewise ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, Mūsā b. ʿUqbah and Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah narrated it from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, and that is the correct version.
