Translation

✧ Muhammad b. Hishām narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Mālik narrated to us; ʿUbayd Allāh b. ʿUmar narrated to us, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ, similar to the ḥadīth of Yūnus b. Abī Isḥāq, from al-Shaʿbī, from ʿAlī. We do not know anyone who narrated this ḥadīth from ʿUbayd Allāh except ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Mālik b. Mighwal, and we do not know it to be narrated from Ibn ʿUmar except through this route. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān is weak in ḥadīth.
