حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِيَهُودِيٍّ وَيَهُودِيَّةٍ قَدْ زَنَيَا فَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِمَا، قَالَ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الرَّجُلَ يَقِيهَا بِنَفْسِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ A Jewish man and a Jewish woman who had committed adultery were brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he ordered them to be stoned. He said: I saw the man shielding her with his own body.
