حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: أَنَا نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا يَبِعْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ

Translation

✧ A man should not propose to a woman when his brother has already proposed to her, and he should not outbid his brother in a sale, unless he gives him permission.
