حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ وَاسْمُ أَبِي حَسَّانَ مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ:

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ أَشْعَرَ بَدَنَتَهُ فِي السَّنَامِ فِي الْجَانِبِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ أَمَاطَ عَنْهَا الدَّمَ وَقَلَّدَهَا نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ الْبَيْدَاءُ أَحْرَمَ وَأَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed at Dhul-Hulayfah. I saw him mark his camel on the right side of its hump, then wipe the blood away from it. He garlanded it with two sandals, then mounted his riding camel. When he reached al-Bayda', he entered ihram and declared the talbiyah for Hajj.
