✧ The Meccans, from b. 'Abbas

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ؓ، قَالَ:

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا، وَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَةٍ وَالْعَصْرَ بِإِقَامَةٍ، وَلَمْ يَتَطَوَّعْ بَيْنَهُمَا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr and 'Asr together on the Day of 'Arafah. He prayed Zuhr with an adhan and an iqamah, and 'Asr with an iqamah, and he did not pray any voluntary prayer between them.
