✧ I heard 'Ali appealing to the people in al-Rahbah: 'I adjure by Allah every Muslim who heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of Ghadir Khumm what he said.' Some people among the crowd responded and testified that they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ take 'Ali by the hand, saying: 'Am I not more entitled to the Muslims than their own selves?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Whoever's mawla I am, O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him.'
