وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، قَالَ: نَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْغَيْلِ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ كَانَ ضَارًّا أَحَدًا ضَرَّ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about ghayl (intercourse with a nursing mother), and he said: If it were harmful to anyone, it would have harmed the Persians and the Romans.
