وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: نَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، قَالَ: نَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - ؓ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَبْصَرَ شَاةً مَيْتَةً شَاغِرَةً بِرِجْلِهَا فَقَالَ: مَا ضَرَّ أَهْلَ هَذِهِ لَوِ انْتَفَعُوا بِإِهَابِهَا ؟ فَدَبَغَتْهُ سَوْدَةُ وَانْتَبَذَتْ فِيهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ saw a dead sheep lying with its legs raised, and said: 'What would it harm the owners of this if they made use of its hide?' So Sawdah tanned it and used it for soaking.
