✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended al-Safa one day and said: 'O calamity of the morning!' Quraysh gathered to him, and he said to them: 'If I told you that an enemy of yours would attack you in the morning or in the evening, would you believe me?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Indeed, I am a warner to you before a severe punishment.' Abu Lahab stood up and said: 'Perish you, O Muhammad! Is it for this that you have gathered us?' Then it was revealed: 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he.'
