✧ A man came to Ibn 'Abbas asking him about nabidh. He said: “The first people to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about nabidh were people who came from 'Abd al-Qays. They said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land of abundant vegetation.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Make nabidh in waterskins, but do not make it in hollowed-out stumps or green jars.’”
