✧ The delegation of 'Abd al-Qays came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, we are people from Rabi'a, and between us and you are the disbelievers of Mudar, and we cannot reach you except in the sacred month, so command us with a matter that if we do it we will enter Paradise and call to it those behind us. So he commanded them and forbade them from four things: to worship Allah without associating anything with Him, to establish prayer, to give zakat, to fast Ramadan, to perform Hajj to the House, and to give the fifth from the spoils. And he forbade them from hantam, dubba', muzaffat, and naqir. They said: In what shall we drink? He said: Drink from those whose mouths are tied with a cord.
