وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
" إِنَّ لِأَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَخِلَّاءٍ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْنَعُهُ مَا سَأَلَهُ فَذَلِكَ مَالُهُ، وَمِنْهُمْ خَلِيلٌ يَنْطَلِقُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْقَبْرَ لَا يُعْطِيهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَمْنَعُهُ فَأُولَئِكَ قَرَابَتُهُ، وَمِنْهُمْ خَلِيلٌ يَقُولُ: أَنَا مَعَكَ أَذْهَبُ مَعَكَ حَيْثُ ذَهَبْتَ وَلَسْتُ بِمُفَارِقِكَ أَبَدًا فَذَلِكَ عَمَلُهُ، إِنْ كَانَ خَيْرًا وَإِنْ كَانَ شَرًّا
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ One of you has three friends on the day he dies: one of them prevents him from what he asks for—that is his wealth. One of them is a friend who goes with him until he enters the grave, but does not give him anything or prevent him—those are his relatives. And one of them is a friend who says, 'I am with you; I will go with you wherever you go, and I will never part from you'—that is his deeds, whether good or evil.
