وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ يَقُولُ لَنَا: إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ: اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطِيئَتِي كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تَصُدَّ عَنِّي وَجْهَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَمِتْنِي مُسْلِمًا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ He used to say to us: When one of you prays, let him say: O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced between the east and the west. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from turning Your face away from me on the Day of Resurrection. O Allah, cleanse me of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, cause me to live as a Muslim and cause me to die as a Muslim.
