حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ: نَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" مَثَلُ الْمُهَجِّرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَدَنَةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً، حَتَّى بَلَغَ إِلَى الدَّجَاجَةِ وَالْبَيْضَةِ أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا

Translation

✧ The example of one who goes early to the Friday prayer is like one who offers a camel, then like one who offers a cow, until he reaches the chicken and the egg, or something like that.
