حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَوْنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، قَالَ: نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ:

كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يَخْطِرُ فِي حُلَّةٍ لَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَامَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: يَا بُرَيْدَةُ ! هَذَا مِمَّنْ لَا يُقِيمُ اللهُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man from Quraysh approached, strutting in his fine garment. When he stood before the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “O Buraydah! This is one for whom Allah will not establish any weight on the Day of Resurrection.”
