Translation

✧ I said to Abū Dharr: "If I had seen the Messenger of God ﷺ, I would have asked him." He said: "About what thing would you have asked him?" I said: "I would have asked him: 'Did you see your Lord?'" He said: "I did ask him, and he said: 'How could I see Him?'"
