حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ:

لَقِيتُ خَالِي وَمَعَهُ الرَّايَةُ، فَقَالَ: أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ، وَقَالَ: " اقْتُلْهُ

Translation

✧ I met my maternal uncle and with him was the banner. He said, “Where are you heading?” He said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to a man who married his father’s wife, and he ordered me to strike his neck.” And he said: “Kill him.”
