حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ:
أَرْسَلَنِي أَبُو جُهَيْمٍ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمَارُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ كَانَ لَأَنْ يَقُومَ أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
Translation

✧ Abu Juhaym sent me to Zayd b. Khalid to ask him about one who passes in front of a person praying. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "If the one who passes in front of a person praying knew what is upon him, it would be better for him to stand for forty autumns than to pass in front of him."
