✧ I entered upon Ibn Abi Awfa and saw him pray the morning prayer as two rak'ahs. His wife said, 'You only prayed two rak'ahs.' He said, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs when he was given glad tidings of the victory, and when he was given glad tidings of the head of Abu Jahl.'
