وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَعَمْرٌو، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنْ يُسَيْعٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ. وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمْ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

Translation

✧ Supplication is worship. And your Lord, Blessed and Exalted, said: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell in humiliation.'
