✧ The first hadith of Abu Musa

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ؓ قَالَ:
قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: شَرَابٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْبِتْعُ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، وَالْمِزْرُ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ، فَقَالَ: " هُمَا يُسْكِرَانِ ؟ " قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ.

✧ It was said to the Prophet ﷺ: "A drink called bit' made from honey, and mizr made from barley." He said: "Do they intoxicate?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Every intoxicant is haram."
