حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ ؓ قَالَ:

بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي طَرِيقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأَحْمَدُ، وَنَبِيُّ الرَّحْمَةِ، وَالْحَاشِرُ، الْمُقَفِّي، وَنَبِيُّ الْمَلْحَمَةِ أَوِ الْمَلَاحِمِ

✧ While I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ on the road to Madinah, I heard him say: 'I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and the Prophet of Mercy, and the Gatherer, the One Who Comes Last, and the Prophet of the Epic Battle or Battles.'

    وهذا الحديث لا نعلمه يروى عن حذيفة إلا من حديث عاصم فرواه إسرائيل وحماد بن سلمة عن عاصم عن زر عن حذيفة ورواه أبو بكر بن عياش عن عاصم عن أبي وائل عن حذيفة وإنما أتى هذا الاختلاف من اضطراب عاصم من أنه غير حافظ
