2562 2555 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ:

حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ

    a well-known Companiond. Ibn Ḥibbān said: he died after ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān was killed. In al-Samʿānī's Amālī: 40 AH. Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr deemed correct that he died in the year 54 AH. Muṣʿab al-Zubayrī said: 58 AH or 59 AH
