✧ Guarding the frontier for a day and a night in the path of God is like fasting a month and standing in prayer during it. Whoever — meaning dies while guarding — the reward of the one guarding will continue for him until he is resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the trial, and his provision will be cut out for him from Paradise.
