machine translationWakīʿ said it from Abū Laylā without naming him. And Muslim b. Ibrāhīm said, from ʿAbdullāh b. Maysarah al-Ḥārithī, from Abū ʿUkāshah, from Rifāʿah b. Shaddād, from Sulaymān b. Ṣurad. The first is closer to the correct view: Abū ʿUkāshah al-Hamdānī, from Rifāʿah b. Shaddād, from ʿAmr b. al-Ḥamiq, for the ḥadīth of ʿAmr b. al-Ḥamiq is preserved (maḥfūẓ) on this topic.
in مسند البزار, p. 2313 - Bazzār
machine translationAs for the ḥadīth of Qurrah, Qurrah made an error in it, because he said: from ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr, from ʿĀmir b. Shaddād. The correct version is what Abū ʿAwānah said. More than one person has corroborated Abū ʿAwānah with a narration like his, so we were content with Abū ʿAwānah alone.
