✧ I was a blacksmith, and al-As b. Wa'il owed me a debt. I went to him to demand it. He said: I will not pay you until you disbelieve in Muhammad. I said: I will not disbelieve in him until you die, then live, then die. He said: Do you claim that I will live? Then I will have wealth and children, and I will pay you. He said: Then God, Blessed and Exalted, revealed: Have you seen the one who disbelieved in Our signs and said, 'I will surely be given wealth and children'? Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Merciful a covenant? No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. And We will inherit from him what he says, and he will come to Us alone.
