حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، قَالُوا: نَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ وُلَاةً مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ، وَإِنَّ وَلِيَّ مِنْهُمْ أَبِي وَخَلِيلَ رَبِّي، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا

✧ Every prophet has close allies from among the prophets, and my closest ally from among them is my father and the intimate friend of my Lord. Then he said: 'Indeed the closest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this prophet, and those who believe.'
