✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was feverish, and I placed my hand on him and said: “O Messenger of Allah, how severe your fever is! You are suffering a severe fever.” He said: “Yes, I suffer fever as two men of you would suffer. There is no believing servant, male or female, who falls ill with an illness but Allah sheds his sins from him just as leaves are shaken off a tree.”
