حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ امْرَأَةً فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ مِنْهَا قُبْلَةً أَوْ شَيْئًا ذَكَرَهُ، فَكَأَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ كَفَّارَتِهِ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا الْآيَةَ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that he had met a woman and that he had gotten from her a kiss or something he mentioned. It was as if he asked about its expiation, so Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent down: 'And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night...' the verse.
