✧ On the day of Hunayn, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave preference to some people in the division of spoils. He gave al-Aqra' b. Habis one hundred camels, gave 'Uyaynah b. Badr the like of that, and gave some Arabs preference in the division. A man said, 'By Allah, this is a division in which justice was not observed, or by which the face of Allah was not intended.' I said, 'By Allah, I will inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ of this.' So I went to him and told him what the man had said. His face changed color, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Musa was harmed with more than this and he was patient.'
