حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ قَالَ: نَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءِ بْنِ الْأَغَرِّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ بِلَالٌ:

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ الْآيَةَ، كُنَّا نَجْلِسُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ، وَنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُصَلُّونَ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ، فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ

✧ When this verse was revealed: 'Their sides forsake their beds' (32:16), we would sit in the gathering, and some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ would pray after Maghrib until Isha. Then this verse was revealed: 'Their sides forsake their beds.'
