✧ A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, where is my father? He said: In the Fire. He said: Then where is your father? He said: Wherever you pass by the grave of a disbeliever, give him the tidings of the Fire.

machine translationThus it was narrated by Yazīd and Ibn Abī Nuʿaym, and I do not know anyone other than the two of them who takes it beyond al-Zuhrī. Rather, they narrate it from al-Zuhrī, who said: "A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ." And the mursal version is more likely (ashbah).
