machine translationIbn ʿUyaynah narrates it from ʿAlī b. Zayd, and there is disagreement about it from him. Abū Maʿmar, Ibn Wakīʿ and Ibrāhīm b. Bashshār narrated it from Ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿAlī b. Zayd, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab, from Saʿd, as a connected report (muttaṣil). Al-Ḥumaydī narrated it from Ibn ʿUyaynah as a mursal report, then he doubted it and said: "I think it is from Saʿd."
