✧ Whoever humiliates a friend of Mine has declared war on Me. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than performing what I have made obligatory upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts until I love him. When I love him, I become his eye with which he sees, his ear with which he hears, his hand with which he strikes, his heart with which he reasons, and his tongue with which he speaks. If he asks Me, I will surely give him, and if he seeks refuge in Me, I will surely grant him refuge. I have not hesitated in anything I do as I hesitate in taking the soul of My believing servant, for he hates death and I hate to hurt him.
