✧ When the polytheists were defeated on the day of Uhud with a defeat known among them, a caller shouted: 'Where are the servants of God?' He said: Then their front ranks returned and fought with their rear ranks. Hudhayfa b. al-Yaman looked and saw his father, so he said: 'My father, my father.' She said: By God, they did not stop until they killed him. Hudhayfa said: 'May God forgive you.' Urwa said: That remained in Hudhayfa until he met God.
