✧ Khawla bt. Hakim came to me, and she was married to Uthman b. Maz'un. The Messenger of God ﷺ noticed her disheveled appearance and said: O Aisha, how disheveled Khawla looks! She said: A woman with no husband; he fasts by day and prays by night, so she is like one without a husband, and she has neglected and ruined herself. The Messenger of God ﷺ sent for Uthman b. Maz'un and said: Are you averse to my sunna? He said: No, by God, but I seek your sunna. He said: I sleep and pray, I fast and break my fast, and I marry women. Fear God, O Uthman, for your family has a right over you, your eyes have a right over you, and your self has a right over you. So fast and break your fast, pray and sleep.
